A veteran of the U.S. Army and Missouri National Guard, since 2010, Jeremy P. Ämick has been sharing the stories of service and sacrifice of our nation's veterans. His work has been featured in several newspapers, in national magazines and on the website War History Online. He is the author of dozens of military history books including Dinner Music in a Combat Zone and Together as One, the biography of Tuskegee Airman James Shipley. Ämick has also authored history books such as Lutherans of Cole County, Missouri, Moments on the Moreau, Hidden History of Cole County and Beyond the Moreau. He has also become a music journalist and penned the biography of the rock bands Missouri, Shooting Star and the Midwestern favorite Head East. He makes his home in Russellville, Missouri with his wife, Tina and their beloved pup, Riker. In his spare time, he enjoys studying German and listening to vintage music on vinyl.
